« We overall enjoyed our stay at this house. The layout was great, the inside was clean and comfortable, the amenities were good! Communication with hosts was quick. However, we were disappointed because it was not really spring- ready; we had to wash out the canoes/ kayaks/ paddle boards of hundreds of spiders, wash the outside chairs to be able to use them, and all of the Wii remote batteries were dead with no replacements. Melissa the host was fantastic with communication and even provided detailed information about the area, restaurants, and recommended activities for our family. We appreciate the beach equipment, and toys for kids and the hot tub underneath a beautiful tree was a perfect place to relax after a busy day. « My family family plus the grandparents (and the dog) had a wonderful stay in August 2025. The house was immaculately clean, and very well-equipped - especially the kitchen (we cooked a whole pork shoulder in the XL crock pot provided!). There were chairs and boogie boards and all manner of beach equipment provided too. The location was an easy walk (1 mile) to every store/restaurant in Corolla we wanted or needed to visit - including Light House Bagels which was great. I would stay here...

« The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with...
