« We have been to Virginia Beach many times but this was our first time staying at the Colony. We were in one of the end rooms and found the floor plan worked very well and the rooms were spacious. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The balcony was the largest of all of the places we had stayed at in Virgina Beach. « Definitely loved this condo! The interior was very clean, kitchen was laid out nice, beds were comfortable, and livingroom furniture tasteful. The bathroom shower head does need to be replaced, as it was full of buildup and I had to scrub it real good in order for water to flow decently. The king size bedroom fan did not have a remote like the other bedroom. I'm assuming maybe someone took it and they never replaced it. « This studio condo was EXACTLY as advertised and very clean with lots of amenities (coffee pods, snacks, spices, towels, robes, beach chairs, you name it!). The owners were VERY responsive and polite and the check in and check out instructions were very clear. The host thought to have things in the unit people might have forgotten or didn’t bring, like an iron, salt & pepper, beach towels & blanket, a body board and family board games. « The place has roaches, like tiny baby roaches, saw a few huge roaches. The microwave doesnt have a turn table. The coffee pots don't work. The bathtub in the guest room doesnt drain properly. « Our host was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The property is in the perfect location - steps to the beach, flat walk out across the dunes and white sand. « We had a wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for a better location. It was ideal for bringing our dog — close enough to enjoy the restaurants, shops and attractions downtown, yet quiet enough for relaxing morning and evening walks.
