« The home was lovely and I have never seen a VRBO so well stocked with anything you might need. Everything was provided. The creek is a soothing sound and the dogs just loved the yard! Close to some great trails. Very gracious hosts. »

« We had a great time!! The house was spotless, hot tub was great, and the fire pit was perfect! We had fun playing pool every night and seeing the animals next door during the day. Master bedroom and bathroom are amazing!!! »

« Cute place. We really liked it. Only “issue” we had was that the pest control guy stopped in unannounced to grab a trap of some sort while we were playing cards. Knock at the door made us nervous because place is kind of secluded. It was fine just unexpected and wasn’t sure if we were supposed to let the guy in or not. »

« We stayed here for a weekend in the area. We went to a concert in Charlottesville on Saturday night and this was a great, quiet location for us to get to the concert and also enjoy a few places along 151. We enjoyed our stay, though it was a rainy weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the property or the many trails on the property as I had hoped. Great accommodations if you don't mind the bed on the lower level and the bath up. We didn't have an issue with that and the owners are very upfront about...

« This was a family gathering to celebrate a UVA graduation. We wanted to stay away from the craziness of Charlottesville. This house was perfect! Everyone in our party raved about how cute, comfy, well laid a house it is! Very well stocked - PLENTY of wine glasses! lol We hit 4 wineries and a brewery (2x) during our stay - all with/in a 5 mile radius! We would highly reccomend and would stay again - for longer - in the future! »

« Two of our sons, each with two children, stayed here. It was the perfect setup, two bedrooms with king beds and a room with two bunk beds! The location was super convenient for joining us at our StoneyCreek home for meals and heading to the mountain for skiing and snow tubing. The property is very clean and updated. The hottub was a bonus! »

« The Shamokin Chalet (Grand Chalet) was a gorgeous home with amazing mountain views! It was one of the most well appointed homes I’ve stayed in - well stocked kitchen (paper products, spices, dishes, cooking supplies, coffees), shampoos, conditioners, body wash, toilet paper and plenty of towels in all bathrooms, even beach towels for the hot tub.
