« What a wonderful place to stay! Everything was clean and fresh ! The view from the back deck area was stunning and peaceful. The bunkbeds were such a treat for our kids and we loved all of the Goat Shack decor! The host was super welcoming and left us an adorable Goat Shack T shirt as a welcome gift. Everything about checking in and out was easy and we will definitely be coming back! It was perfect! »

« Cabin was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The outdoor deck was a fabulous spot to hang out with the family. My only negatives…were the extra firm beds and not being able to access the open water, even with waders, due to sinking in the mud. Adding a couple of paddle boats- 1 for each cabin- would be a huge bonus, but you can’t help the lake levels. All in all, we had a fabulous stay. »

« I absolutely loved this location. We got the Dixie Den and the drive to was so beautiful. The water was so nice to lay in with a sand shore (of course Texas is one good rain away from higher water) kayaks for rent and the neighbors were so nice. Property manager was so nice and helpful made sure we had everything we needed and if i had the opportunity to buy this little spot I sooooooo would! Nice shower, and spacious restroom.
