« We loved this incredible location just off of dam number 4. There is beautiful hiking along the river within a stone’s throw of the porch and the house itself is like a grandmother’s hug. »

« Everything went super smoothly. Nancy is an excellent communicator. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the main strip and that walk is through a beautiful neighborhood with friendly folks all around. 10/10 would stay again. »

« What a nice, history rich house to stay in. You can tell it has old bones but has been maintained and is full of character. Loved the relaxing setting with the river running around the house. Plenty to explore on the property down by the water and in the woods. Exactly what’s needed for a relaxing get away. Close to town as well for anything needed. Kirsten was a great host. »

« My brother and I stayed at this property during a relocation transition. We loved the homey feel of this property. It was clean, well supplied with the necessities and beautifully decorated. It felt like home. The bonus was the owner, who was so helpful and avaliable to assist with whatever we needed. The property manager who lives next door was also very helpful when we needed to do laundry and could not find the washing machine and dryer. She was there promptly to help us. I only have one...

« We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us.
