« We just spent three nights at the cottage in Star. We had an awesome time. The pictures don’t do it justice at all. When we walked inside it was like coming home. The cottage was decorated for Easter. Loved all of the cute decorations. It was chilly at nights and the gas logs were so cozy. Our Dachshund had her own recliner and she loved cottage. « Such an adorable cozy space. Absolutely love the decor and felt so at home. Host was so easy to chat with and the fresh eggs were so sweet, even tho we didn’t eat them bc my silly hubby didn’t read the note correctly and didnt know they were for us lol kiddos loved the swing set and chatting with the chickens next door! Great place to stay for our zoo trip! »

« We spent 4 nights at this property. It was beautiful!! The setting on the golf course cannot be beat...Great! The home was very clean and a bathroom for every bedroom is the best. The guys played three rounds of golf at three different Pinehurst courses and enjoyed them all. Mr Hanna was very helpful setting up all the tee times.All in all it is a great spot and looking forward to going back. Cathy, Steve and family »

« We love Batten Cottage! Our 2nd stay…I would give it 5 stars again, but only some minor issues. The back sliding door can hardly open but the deck and view, seating is awesome. We love the location, quiet and clean. The bathrooms can use a little updating, our toilet didn’t flush well. Just little things, but overall a ton of space, we love the 2 beds in each bedroom. Hope to be back! »
