« The place was cozy and warm. We loved the view and the easy access to downtown Carmel Valley, the beach and Garland Park. The kitchen was small but mighty. Who wants to cook a lot when on vacation? It was plenty for our needs. The balcony was lovely overlooking the owners very peaceful and zen garden. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and comforting. I loved the little table and stool in the kitchen overlooking the hills and the garden. I am a writer and would love to come back...

« Wonderful unit. The view from this place is on point. I could sit on the patio all day. Inside still has the original cabinets, ect, but everything is freshly panted and was absolutely immaculate. Parking is tight so one car is best but not impossible. Friendly neighbors. The taco shop on the corner is worth a stop. I would definitely book this again. »

« Wow, what a find, right on the ocean. Very well appointed and had everything you need, like at home! Owner lives upstairs and was very helpful with checkin and details about the property. We will stay again here when visiting the area. Oh, the Monterey Aquarium is within walking distance. »

« Have stayed at this condo many times. We are locals to the area but it is just a great place to spend a weekend for a staycation once in a while. The location could not be more convenient. It was even decorated for the holidays. Easy walk to everything that Carmel has to offer. Parking is a huge plus. »

« Bill was attentive and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the outside patio area and ocean view from the high top table and chairs. The home was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Downtown Carmel was very close, we went to Mission Ranch for dinner more than once, it is less than 5 minutes away. This was great for a long weekend stay for two people. »

« Discrepancies between listing on VRBO and actual accommodations: refrigerator and microwave were in a common area, NOT in the room, as listed. It was difficult to find the switch for the gas fireplace which was the only heat in the room and it was very cold, window open, when we arrived late in the evening (host was notified of late arrival.) The phones in the room did not work to call the front desk; I had to use my cell phone to reach them. Also, bed was hard; I realize this is a matter of...
