Wonderful unit. The view from this place is on point. I could sit on the patio all day. Inside still has the original cabinets, ect, but everything is freshly panted and was absolutely immaculate. Parking is tight so one car is best but not impossible. Friendly neighbors. The taco shop on the corner is worth a stop. I would definitely book this again.

Great location, clean and very quiet. Rating an 8 out of 10. Decent mattress and kitchen amenities. Included parking spot was a great feature. If it had a coffee table/ottoman in the living room or table and chairs on the balcony it would be a 10/10. Great views but not able to sit outside and enjoy coffee or a drink. Thoroughly enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets over the ocean.

condo is wonderful, really spacious, everything is updated and looks brand new. The host was so pleasant and very responsive to any questions we had. Overall this home was great and we enjoyed our stay. A few things to just be aware of: the location of the condo is not in the best area. There were multiple fights and suspicious activities going on right outside. Both times police showed up rather quickly (which we assumed they either know this happens on this street, or a neighbor is used to this happening and called). there is no AC in the condo and it got rather warm and stuffy at night. There are a couple doors you can open up to get air flow during the day, but we did not feel safe leaving those door open at night. The balcony is not closed off. So anyone can just walk up the stairs and right into the unit if the back or side doors are left open. A couple suggestions:add a few hooks in the bathroom so you can hang your towel after you showerprovide some extra pillows in the closet. The pillows on the bed are thin and were not comfortable for us. try to get some sort of barrier or wall built that closes off the side balcony to add more privacy and security for the guests.

This is a cute, apartment close to Highway 1 and with amazing views of Monterey bay. First and foremost, the place was incredibly clean, which is not always the case with rentals. We appreciated the updated bathroom, particularly the shower and updated wood look tile flooring throughout. We also appreciated the dedicated parking space. The host was fantastic and very responsive. My only suggestion for improvement, which is why I’m giving four stars instead of five, is that the furniture isn’t up to the same standard as the rest of the apartment. The bed felt small (I believe it is a double rather than queen). And the rather large living room had only a love seat and two rather tired and uncomfortable chairs. That said, overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend the apartment and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This was a great little place to stay. In a wonderful location between Monterrey and Big Sur.The neighborhood is quiet and either the other units are silent or there is really great sound proofing as we never heard anyone else. There were cars so we know they weren't empty. The unit was very clean with plenty of towels as well as a blow dryer and an iron, also has an oscillating fan, I was very happy with that. Target is right across the way and we were able to get any items we forgot to bring with us.The only cons I have is the shower loses water pressure frequently which makes rinsing your hair out a little difficult and the mattress protector on the bed is loud so you hear it when you move at night. The shower does get wonderfully hot which was great after hiking all day and the bed was suprisingly comfortable and I slept well in it. Highly recommend eating at Gusto's Italian place as it was delicious. If you go before the highway opens take the time to drive around to Cambria and come up from the south as there is so much to see and do there as well. Going north to Henry Cowell National Forest is amazing and has Big Ben the largest redwood tree in the world. Samantha Nunes photography did an amazing job at taking our pictures with wonderful locations behind us. The Monterrey Aquarium is fantastic and great for adults and kids. All of this was an easy drive from this location. I would absolutely stay here again!!

We had a fantastic time! We were in town for the Laguna Seca Indycar race. Condo is nice, clean and updated with a parking place right at the bottom of the stairs. This is our first time to the area. Upon arrival we thought the neighborhood looked a little run down. But it turns out the entire town & Monterey look like this (must be continued sea air hitting everything). We felt safe and were happy with the location. Loved the view of the ocean. (walking distance to grocery & hwy close by). My only suggestion would be to put a couple chairs on the balcony. Thanks again! We hope to return.

Had a nice time in the Monterey area, and this location was perfect for getting to and from key points of interest. Apartment was clean and it was nice and quiet. Perfect to recharge. Opening the windows allowed for the refreshing sea breeze.

Comfortable & convenient

I really enjoyed my stay. The unit was clean, comfortable and provided everything I needed during my stay. The location is very convenient for exploring all that the Monterey peninsula has to offer. The unit has lots of windows, and has a fantastic view.The host was very responsive to all of my questions and was very accomodating when I requested a late checkout. The laundry area in back of the building is very tidy and very close to the unit. It was great to have a parking space right beside the unit, since street parking is limited.
