« To answer your "did the host seem welcoming" question, there was no interaction with a host...just the rental company. We did get a few emails that seemed like automated communications with door code, etc. But nothing warm or welcoming. The house was fine, but maybe could have been a bit cleaner. I do understand that it is difficult to keep a large property like this one in top notch condition when there are renters in and out of it week after week.
