« We used this home as our base for visiting Yosemite. The house itself is amazing and surrounded by beautiful views. The kitchen is fully stocked. Akila has made it super easy to use all of the amenities from a fireplace (we did not use) to a hot tub (we did use!) The beds are comfy and the home is spacious. My teens loved using the pool table. The only downside for us was that it is about an hour drive to get to Yosemite. Not bad but still a little bit of a drive. We at a new BBQ place in...

« The retreat was very nice spacious and very well equipped for our stay. It took us about 1 1/4 to get to Yosemite valley and 1hour to Mariposa grove. The house was a little more remotely located than we expected. However we did enjoy the town of Mariposa 15 min away. Nice dining options and a good grocery. »

« Hosts, John & Lisa, provided many special details that made our stay enjoyable & comfortable. Mariposa is a charming town and the property is conveniently located an hour away from Yosemite. The front porch is a relaxing place for hanging out after hiking all day. »

« We stayed here recently as a convenient location to visit Yosemite. The house suited my family (4 small boys) well with everybody having their own bed. The kids especially enjoyed the game room in the garage, which was also nice when they woke up in the early morning. There is a grocery store nearby for food and nearby restaurants as well. Really happy with this stay! »

« Large home on the golf course… what’s not to like? House was clean and owner cooperative with our early check-in request. This was our third time staying in this home, so obviously it works well for us. »

« Our family of 11 from 3 to 70 had a great time! The house was great for us and Megan was very responsive! Easy access to the house and the lake/beach was wonderful! Kids loved the pool table/play room, but didn’t want to sleep downstairs by themselves so if you’re planning to have young kids in the one bedroom downstairs they may not want to be there by themselves. All other bedrooms are upstairs (worked out for us, just an FYI). Kitchen has everything you need! One of the best equipped kitchens...

« Although this location is right on Orangeburg Ave, we enjoyed our stay. It was close to McHenry where you had access to lots of restaurants. The duplex was clean and spacious especially the master bedroom. We felt safe and would stay here again. »
