4000 sq ft Lakeside Escape Near Yosemite With Private Dock and Lake Access

After a day outdoors, relax in one of the largest rentals at Pine Mountain Lake. Your family & friends can spread out over ~4000 sq ft of luxuriously appointed living space containing necessary modern conveniences. Enjoy two large decks overlooking the gulch / lake below. Located in a quiet inlet away from all the crowds, you'll have direct access to a private dock on the lake with kayaks, inner tubes, nearby hiking trails, swimming, tennis, golf, fishing, and day trips to Yosemite.

The space

Walking through the front door, you'll enter the relaxing open concept great room with sweeping views of the gulch below. The recently remodeled, fully-stocked kitchen has high-end appliances, stainless steel pots/pans, and everything you need to cook your favorite meals! Relax on the plush sofa in front of the 65" flat screen TV with Apple TV and Chromecast, or choose one of the various board games and puzzles to play as a group. The large solid wood dining table can comfortably seat up to 12 people and the French doors lead to an outdoor patio dining set, lounge chairs, and propane grill on the upper deck.

Turning left and going down the hall, you'll come to the bright formal living room. Secluded from the rest of the house, enjoy the comfortable couches and the regulation sized foosball table. Completing the main floor is a powder bathroom and a huge master bedroom with comfortable king-size bed, sitting area, crib, and spacious en-suite bathroom with separate soaking tub and dual shower head walk-in shower.

Downstairs is a common space, one full bathroom, and 3 large bedrooms. One larger bedroom has a king-sized bed and an additional twin bed. This bedroom also has a 39 inch Amazon Fire TV. The second and third downstairs bedrooms each have a king-sized bed and workstations with a standalone VGA monitor (you may need to bring your own adaptors if needed) for you to connect your laptop (in case you need to do some work while on vacation). All bedrooms have a closet / armoire. The common space has a ping pong table, two full-size futons that can sleep additional guests, and a 55 inch Roku TV and Chromecast for the group to enjoy. This lower level also has its own deck with a hammock and plush patio furniture.

- Free high-speed WiFi throughout the entire house (As we're located in a rural area, we are not responsible for the rare occasions that the power and internet may go out, particularly during PG&E's rolling blackouts)

- Disinfectant Wipes
- Private Dock: swim in the lake, use the kayaks, float in our innertubes, fish right on the dock (bring your own gear / fishing license)
- Parking: The driveway is large enough to fit multiple cars, but the garage is not available for guest use.

Some Final Considerations

There are approximately 250 weathered steps (a couple steps may be broken) to get down to the home's private dock (easy walk down, a light workout to walk back up to the house). By confirming your reservation, you agree to hold the owners and all who provide services to this home, to be held harmless in the event of an incident. Depending on your group's preferences, you may want to consider driving down a private gated roadway and park directly at the dock/deck to set up "camp" at the dock / lake.

There is a motion-activated video security spotlight monitoring the front porch.

Guest access
You’ll have access to the entire house except for a couple locked storage closets. The garage is not accessible to guests.
Other things to note
There is a $50 / car fee charged by the HOA (this applies to all homes and other rentals in the Pine Mountain Lake development) for security, maintenance, and access to the HOA amenities for a week. The security gate will collect the fee for the Association when you first enter Pine Mountain Lake.

Cell phone reception may be spotty in the area, but the house does include high-speed internet. Please be sure to plan accordingly in case you find yourself in a dead zone.

As we continue to improve our home, the bedding / throws, cushions and pillows, wall artwork, and home furnishings may be slightly different than what's shown in the pictures. Furniture and accessories may also get moved around in between guest stays. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding!
