« 10 out of 10!!!! This little farmhouse is EXACTLY what we needed in the Waco area! The house cozy and comfortable, a far cry from generic hotel room in Waco. The gas fireplace was a comfort we indulged in while the whole family sat and read books around it. We now have a whole herd of cow friends, who visited every morning, and (with the help of some cow pellets graciously left from the owner), our daughter made friends with all of them, including the newborn calf. « We had a great stay at The Bear’s Nest! The property and views were beautiful, the hostess was very responsive and there was plenty of space for our large family. Having 2 living areas was great with lots of kids and adults staying together. The kitchen was amazing and nicely stocked. The back yard space leading to the river was gorgeous.
