Sunset on Sapelo Island, Georgia. Of all of the east coast states of the U.S., Georgia has probably done the best job of preserving the character of its coastline. Several of the islands of the coast, such as Cumberland, St. Catherines, and Sapelo (pictured) aren't accessible by road or bridge, and mingle almost imperceptibly with the salt marshes around them. Sapelo is home to a University of Georgia research institute that was instrumental in the creation of the academic field of ecology.

« This was a nice mini-condo, suitable for a couple or family with small children. It was clean and had good amount of kitchen supplies. Bed was comfortable, and quiet at night. Parking is easy. Nice pool. Bathroom is very small, and tub/shower doesn’t have safety handles so may not be suitable for elderly couple or someone with mobility/balance issues. The beach access is still under repair. Looks like it is being worked on. So check if that is your goal. We didn’t mind walking a bit which takes...

"Le logement était grand, très pratique pour notre famille. Lits très confortables, au calme absolu. Bel espace piscine, petit déjeuner inclus et très appréciable. Le seul inconvénient était le manque de luminosité dans l'espace séjour, mais c'est un détail ! Merci pour tout, nous reviendrons !"

"Cet hotel ne reflete pas la chaine le spa fermé piscine pas chauffée tres malpropre ne donne pas le gout de s y baigner des fourmis se promene alentour piscine les bas de murs et partout saleté la chambre studio pas de savon ds la douche, la toilette etait bouchée, cerne noir alentour du bouchon evier, pour le prix de 290$ c est une mauvaise affaire"
