« HIGHLY recommend if your looking to stay near Anna Maria Island on a budget. My family had an amazing time and Anna Maria Island is absolutely beautiful! Also, Oak and Stone restaurant (downtown Bradenton) was amazing as well. We walked there (it is about a 20 minutes walk there from the house (with 3 kids lol)). There was a pier that you are able to walk out on, a really nice play ground and an ice cream shop in downtown Bradenton also. On Anna Maria Island I reccomend parking at the sand bar...

« It's not on the beach. It's near to the beach, but not on the island and you need to drive to get to the beach. The owner came to the rental while we were out, which was a bit creepy. They just emptied the recyclable garbage, but it was weird that someone had been there while we were gone. There was a bathroom light out that didn't get changed, and the sheets were upside down and I had to remake the bed. It was clean and newly remodeled. There is no stove or oven, and no dishwasher. « The location is really perfect. It's literally just a few steps away from the beach access. Also, it's just a short walk to Pine St for restaurants, etc. We really loved the shared pool, and mostly had it to ourselves even though the other units were occupied. The communication with the owner/manager was excellent. The bedroom was on the small side, so it was a bit of a challenge with our two luggages, but we knew that when we rented it, and weren't bothered by that. »

« The house was clean, comfortable and a great location. I was traveling with my daughter-in-law and two tween aged granddaughters. We enjoyed using the pool and so appreciated the use of a golf cart. It was wonderful to have beach towels, chairs, umbrella, pool floaties and other accessories. « Castaway Cottage was a very clean, relaxing and peaceful stay for us and all of the essentials that anyone would need, was provided by Dan and Lori. The rainy weather reduced our time at the Beach but we were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub at the cottage. We grilled out one night and had dinner in the pool area. « Sea Horse Cottage is an excellent property on Anna Maria Island. It is clean and beautifully furnished. The pool is lovely and a great place to be after a long day at the beach. The beach is so close you can see the water while standing in front of the house. »
