« The place was very new, clean, comfortable, quiet & relaxing. Great location, too. Basically right next to the north entrance of Itasca State Park where we spent our time. After a long day of exploring & hiking, we looked forward to relaxing back at our room, sleeping in comfortable beds with A/C & running water. To us it was the best way to go “camping”. « Love this little cabin -- just close enough to Park Rapids, yet far enough out to enjoy the peace of being up north. Perfect size with the two bedrooms, and roomy bathroom. Love having the laundry available also. My only suggestion would be to have a few lamps (living room and in each bedroom) so you don't have to rely on just the overhead lighting. But we really do love this place -- did you notice it has the biggest kitchen island in the history of up north cabins?? LOVE! »

« Drop dead gorgeous lake without the jammed, crowded lake houses so many other Minnesota lakes offer. Unique island location. The sauna was immensely popular with everyone. Special feeling to float in the lake at night after the sauna experience. Armada of toys and games kept the young ones engaged. Kayaks and paddle boards.
