« We had an amazing getaway with our friend group of 4 families. The house was absolutely fantastic!! Everything was nice and clean on arrival. Check in was super easy. The listing description was spot on. It was the perfect amount of space for our group. Plenty of bedrooms for the adults and kids. Speaking of which, the beds were unbelievably comfy. « First of all you falsely advertise a whole beautiful house and nowhere mention in the listing that you're sequestered to an old dirty moldy basement efficiency. Walked in and instantly hit with an overwhelming smell of mold. The floor from one side to the other was so filthy no one wanted to take their shoes off. Most of the lights and switches didn't work. The kitchen was bare bones. We didn't even have oven mitts to remove our food from the oven. The beds/linens are comparable to prison...

Most importantly its 15 mins from jack frost and about 5 mins away from big boulder. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and other equipment and the house had a couple of board games which were nice to have. »

« I will stay at Castle Idlewild was wonderful. Everything was perfect. I would say the only thing that they lacked in was we had to fill up the tub 2 to 3 times with hot water so we can sit and soak in the tub for relaxation which was so wonderful truly recommend this jewel to everyone. »

Everyone really appreciated the fireplace, stocked kitchen with plenty of pans and dishes, and not to forget the playroom and movie room, and last of all the hot tub! It snowed while we were there which we enjoyed the view of a local herd of dear and visited Jim Thorpe! »

« Brian is a great host! Great communication! This was the second time we stayed here for our annual girls trip. We literally walked in and said "hello house, we've missed you" and when leaving said "goodbye, until next year". I cannot say enough. We have a fun yet relaxing time. It was super cold this past weekend so we just stayed inside and played games. 5 middle aged women who had a blast and cannot wait till next year. Love this house!!! »
