This lovely Poconos Lake Harmony Estates chalet has it all: beautifully furnished, cathedral ceilings, stone (gas burning) fireplace, 65" smart TV, high speed WiFi, modern fully equipped kitchen w/granite countertops, massive deck with brand new 6 burner grill, picnic table, and umbrella for entertaining, large secluded fire pit area, outdoor hot tub, basement game room with pool table plenty of seating and a TV for game watching, ping pong table in garage, loft has another TV and a foosball table. Linens and towels including beach towels ARE included. 5 bedrooms with 4 queen beds in 4 rooms and a bunk room with 2 sets of twin over twin bunks. There is also a fold out couch in the game room. Pets allowed with $75 pet fee per pet for the entire stay.

Situated in a peaceful setting on a 1/2 acre wooded property, enjoy watching native animals that routinely walk through the yard. Deer, turkey and other wildlife are commonly seen. Winter evenings offer a view of the slopes at Big Boulder Ski Resort from the large windows in family room.

Staying in the Estates affords you access to a private beach with parking, tennis courts, and a marina key to allow boat access to the lake. The house is about 1/4 mile from the lake beach, 1 mile from Big Boulder Ski Area and Split Rock golf course and a 5-minute drive to Jack Frost Ski resort and golf Course. Camel Back Ski Area and Water Park as well as the Crossings Shopping Outlets are only 20 miles away. Other activities are available at the nearby Split Rock Resort and the Town Center (formally the Galleria) including a movie theatre, indoor water park, arcade, ice cream parlor and bowling alley.

Restaurants are only a few minutes away. Nick's Lake House, Shenanigans, Louie's Prime Steak House, the Split Rock Lodge, the Terra Cottage Cafe and Piggy's are all close. Recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, skiing, golfing, biking, climbing, mini-golf, horseback riding, state parks and a dirt bike and ATV riding park are all nearby.

Annual attractions include NASCAR racing, Wine and Food Fest, Blues Fest and Beer Festivals.

Directions: The home is easily accessible from Exit 95 of the PA Turnpike or Interstate 80.

Host responded to all of our questions quickly leading up to our stay. All directions to everything in the home were detailed and laid out both beforehand and at the time of the visit. Everything was within working order and there were plenty of "extras" on hand. We had a great time cooking, singing, hanging in the hot tub and playing all of the various games around the home. We'd love to stay here again, i loved it! Very roomy and lots of places to not only hang but to have privacy if wanted. Close Jack frost and near many bars/restaurants.

This was perfect for us. We fly in from 3 states and loved the beauty of the Chalet. The host left clear instructions so you didn’t have to guess. They also left a list of restaurants in the area and the local grocery. The property was great and we were visited by many deer -which ment so much on Christmas for our granddaughter. The house was absolutely beautiful and Charlie and Gloria were fantastic hosts! They answered all of my questions very promptly - usually within 15 minutes and while I did not get to talk to them in person, they seemed super friendly. The house was clean and well stocked with more than enough room to accommodate several more than just the 6 of us.I reserved the house for the weekend with a group of old friends who only wanted to drink some beer, watch some football, listen to some music, play some pool and hang by the campfire and tell old stories (for the thousandth time!)MISSION (easily) ACCOMPLISHED!!We are most likely going to make this a yearly event and we hope that Charlie and Gloria will allow us to use their gorgeous home for years to come!

The residence and the surrounding area was incredible. The host was easy to communicate with. The house was immaculate and has lots of room for the kids to play. 65” UHD tv to watch the games or a family movie night. we talked the whole way home about coming back it was a great time.

The property, parking, rooms, were all fabulous. The only constructive feedback I have is that the hot tub jets kept cutting off after a few minutes. If you turn it down to 90 degrees they stay on, but at 100 it goes into power mode. The rooms were clean, plenty of towels and fun things to do like the foosball table and the pool table.

We absolutely love the property, it was so charming and warm! Only thing we notice was some outlets in the kitchen were non-functioning and just quite a few spider webs (I know it’s hard to maintain the webs.) but other than that it was a great stay

We had a lovely stay at your home! The amenities were exactly as described! You literally just needed to bring your clothes and food. The little ones loved the bunks! Adults loved the pool table and ping pong table! The movie choices were good for the little ones! The adults loved the outdoor space. Our fires were great, smores are always a hit when we vacation! The community spaces were wonderful, and the windows were great. The deck was nice. The only thing was that the house seemed like it needed a deep clean. The countertops and bedrooms were clean, but there was some hair in the bathroom, cob-webs by windows and corners around the house, and the floor needs to be washed. Walking around with bare feet inside the house turned a few of our feet dark.

I was extremely disappointed. The beds throughout the house were extremely uncomfortable. We had to go out and purchase three air mattresses because my granddaughters could not sleep on the bunk beds because the springs were coming through. Most of us just slept on the sofas throughout the house. My sun in law had to replace the bulb in the 3rd floor queen bedroom fixture as well as he went out and purchased WD40 for the upstairs bathroom door. I had to clean the floors on the second level because my grandson was walking around with no shoes and his feet were black. Had to call for the maintenance man to fix the second floor toilet seat because it would shift when you sat down as well as theBrackets on the refrigerator door. When you opened theRefrigerator anything on the door would fall down. WhenWe tried to fix the brackets we noticed that they were taped on.I feel that the house could use updating. The owner wasVery easy to deal with and always responded immediately to my emails. It was in a good location not Far from activities.

A nice retreat in Poconos

I’ve booked this 5 br house for our family retreat. I was her bit confused by the photographs and thought that this was the lakefront property. However it turned out to be about 10 minutes walk from the lake shore. Nevertheless we’ve enjoyed staying in this house that is nested inside the quest forest with deers roaming around. Access to the lake is rather easy, either two minutes by car or 10 minutes walk. The area is pretty nice, with quite a few restaurants, groceries and a lot of interesting activities to engage in. The property itself is clean, the only problem we had is the air conditioner that was on all the time and made the interior very cold. We could not turn it off because it would make it very hot on the upper floor. Finally I have managed to adjust the vents so it was more tolerable. This is a minor thing, otherwise we’ve enjoyed staying there very much. There is a pool table, table tennis table, fire pit, grill, and all the other things that you need for a short vacation.

Relaxing Family Getaway

Spacious house to accommodate 10 people comfortably. We enjoyed playing pool & ping pong, sitting by the camp fire seeing the deer around the woods. Beach area was a bit smaller than expected. Overall the house provided exactly what we needed to celebrate a 70th birthday weekend.

House with everything

I stayed for a weekend with four friends for a 50th high school reunion of sorts. The house has everything to keep a group busy (pool, ping pong, foosball), but our group of ladies were a little low key —enjoying the hot tub, living spaces and evening campfires. The house is well appointed. I will say that the bunk beds are probably not suitable for mature adults.
