« This brand new home was absolutely wonderful. It's in a fantastic location that is simultaneously private and feels like it is in the middle of the forest, but at the same time is just moments from downtown and the harbor. It was well-appointed with everything we could have needed. Everything was clean and well-organized. We loved the backyard and sitting under the tall pines around the fire pit in the evening. The host was communicative and accommodating. We would love to stay here again! »

« This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and two babies ( 2yrs old and 5 months). Comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The food for the first breakfast was supplied (eggs, bacon, bread, milk, cream, jam, coffee). This is a great idea and appreciated by all. First time I see this, original and useful.. »

« This quintessential Monhegan summer cottage has beautiful bones, a lovely color palette, and an ever-changing prospect. The rooms are furnished simply with original art and period furniture with quiet lines. The kitchen was very recently remodeled, the clawfoot tub and shower’s up next! »

« We had a fantastic stay this January. The house was perfect with great heating gas fireplace, pellet stove and wood stove. Also a wonderful fire pit outside and a wonderful outside hot tub. We used everything and had exceptional weather as well. Highly recommend it. The host is very reachable and helpful with small things we needed clarification on. Highly recommend this place. « The captain’s house is on a beautiful street full of stately old homes and just a 10 minute walk across the bridge to Damariscotta. The house is roomy and comfortable and has a gorgeous front porch where you can sit and watch the people passing by and look out over the river. We love it there. This is our fourth stay. »
