« The host did allow us to check in 15 minutes early. The entry to the cabin appeared dirty, mold around the door and mat. The full window door had pet saliva residue all over it. The couch was covered in pet hair. A broken table was beside the couch. While not as clean as we would have liked, we had paid and we were going to try to make it work. We immediately went and bought blankets to cover the couch so that we could sit. When we came back, we watched some TV, trying to convince ourselves...

« We stayed a couple of nights . The kitchen is well stocked and the house was very comfortable .They had a great grill and chopped wood for the fire ring . We enjoyed the games and fishing from the dock . The pool and nature trail were very nice also. Only regret was only getting to stay 2 nights . My grand daughter said she wanted to live there forever lol . We also drove to Dismals Canyon and Rattlesnake Saloon . Grocery store was very close by »

« Cabin hosts were amazing and very responsive. Cabin is in a quiet secluded area, making it very relaxing. The only downside, which is not the host’s fault at all, was the neighbors were target shooting guns, which scared our small dog (yes you can bring pets!). We booked this place to get away from fireworks with our dogs, only to have gun noise. It was definitely better than fireworks though. We would definitely book again »

« No central heating and air so if you want to stay cool in the rooms you need to leave all doors open. Which defeats the purpose of privacy. Only has a mini split that cools the ceiling of the kitchen and one room upstairs. Host rude non responsive won’t answer all questions/avoids questions. Stained sheets, pillows. You can tell the host doesn’t like guests just by her wording in the welcome book. Definitely a grouchy old person.this visit showed me I will never use a vrbo and trust a host...
