« Excellent location and the house is perfect for a group! Close to the beach, well stocked, comfortable beds, and great communication with host. We are already looking to come back! »

« The house was in a good location. The furniture in the house was really uncomfortable (chairs and couches). Both beds were uncomfortable; did not get a decent night’s sleep the entire stay. The porch is nice and did enjoy sitting out there. Would have been nice to have had a washer and dryer. None of the doors worked in the house; closet door in living room kept popping open and the bathroom door would not stay shut (which is rough if you have another couple staying with you). Location and...

« Great stay would def return »

« We had the best time at Royal retreat! Multiple families of all ages and space for everyone. Tricia was the best host, always responded promptly and provided everything we needed. We can't wait to return! »

« The host, Kelly, was extremely communicative and eager to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. We worked through a few small issues and overall had a great vacation. There are many things to do around LaPorte and it is close to Indiana Dunes. I would recommend this property for a long weekend or family vacation. »

« Good communication with host. They repaired a broken ac unit. Beds aren’t super comfortable which ended up being a big detractor for us. It was easy to work with the host and the location was perfect. It required more of guests than many other rentals we have stayed at upon check out. »

The upstairs bedroom had two oscillating fans and remote-controlled shades for the skylights, and the beds were very comfortable with a variety of pillows to choose from. They even offered to change out our towels midweek if needed, although...
