« Thought the motel in general was very good but some slight maintained would make it excellent »

« My sister and I lost power due to a tornado last Thursday so we got a room at Tru. It was our first time staying there but it won’t be our last. This hotel was simply amazing. The staff was very helpful and nice. The front desk even gave us a tour before we got our room. The pool was nice and surprisingly quiet, and the breakfast was very delicious! I definitely recommend this hotel to any and everyone! »

« The location was good for ease of getting on and off the highway. The building, room and parking lot were very clean, they have only been at that location for a year. The area is pretty rural. There is a McDonald’s nearby, a Dunkin’ Donuts and a Charlie’s for eating. And there are a couple of gas stations at that exit. The only negative, and it wasn’t a big deal was the number of parking spaces that can be seen from room windows is very limited. So if you’re the type that wants to keep an eye on...

« I don’t recommend this property. Very run down, dirty floors, toilet was detached and rocked, air conditioning in common areas couldn’t keep up, people sitting on benches right next to front door smoking 24:7 and it was in the lobby every time we entered. Not family friendly! »

« This hotel has a lot of potential, but my stay was unfortunately disappointing. The toilet didn't flush, the air conditioner was so weak that it did not cool the room, and the bed frame had a metal spike sticking out that actually took a chunk of skin off my leg. What frustrated me most was that the staff already knew about these issues. « We chose this hotel because they have a pool. My teen daughter took 1 look at the debris and bugs floating in it and said no way. The pillows are small and lumpy. But this room single handedly made me realize just how done with hotels I am after this trip. The only curtain covering the window is a sheer white curtain.
