« The location of the cottage was just breathtaking. The back porch made a really great spot to sit in the mornings and listen to birds and look at nature. Butterball was a wonderful addition as well. I know you’ll see a lot of reviews about him here, but you just never really know how he is until you get the chance to meet him in person! I would definitely recommend this stay to others, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future. »

« Absolutely loved this place overall. The property was clean, comfortable, and in a great location with shops and food nearby. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the whole stay easy from check-in to check-out. The room itself was very well kept and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The only downside was the shower head pressure, which was pretty weak and made showers a little frustrating. Other than that, everything else was excellent and I would definitely stay here again. »

« Superb location! Minutes to the VA Creeper Trail. Walkable town and excellent restaurants. Extremely quiet. Comfortable bed with nice linens. Relaxation in the rocking chairs on the front porch. The train horn does not sound between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Even though the Firehouse is across the street and emergency services were down the street, we would have never known either was there. Nice small park across the street. Even though there are hooks behind the bedroom doors and three small drawers...

« I had never been to Trail Days and wanted to experience it in some comfort. (Life on trail is rough enough.) The cottage was a great place to experience Trail Days. It was clean and roomy enough for me and my two hiking partners. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The living room was comfortable as was my bedroom. Though we didn't use it, there's a TV in the living room. There is only one bathroom but that really wasn't a problem at all.The cottage is well located; across the street...
