« What a great setting for a multigenerational family gathering! The home was clean and exceedingly well stocked with everything you need for a lake getaway. The dock sits on a quiet cove, perfect for fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, and has cleats to tie a rented boat for longer journeys out to the main lake. Game room and lower level rec room provided variety for evening intertainment. Highly recommend! »

« Met some friends for a girls weekend and had an amazing time. We all loved the location and the amenities. We did not leave at all. Views of the lake are stunning. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee. It was also awesome to have a table out there to eat and have space for activities. I also was able to see a blue heron catch a fish while sitting on the porch. The inside dining room...

« We had a wonderful time during our stay! We enjoyed being out on the water and exploring the different islands Lake Gaston has too ofter. The best part of our stay was hanging out on the amazing screened in porch!!! Whether we were drinking our morning coffee listening to the birds wake up, or smoking dinner on the trager!! We also enjoyed making s’mores and spending quality time with the family around the awesome fire pit! We will definitely be back for another weekend on the lake! Our Host was...

« We are a group of 9 that were in town for a baseball tournament in Roanoke Rapids. The house was a quick 25 minutes to the ball field. While the rest of the team was crammed around a hotel pool, we were relaxing in the lake. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was spacious to cook and had all necessary supplies and even spices. When our tournament ran late, the owners were super responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. »

« This is a wonderful house for a family vacation. There were 11 of us. There is plenty of room and lots of sleeping space. The house is very well-equipped. It is right on the lake with a nice dock. Swimming is great, and there are two kayaks. It is at the mouth of a cove with easy access to main lake. The host is communicative and check-in and out were very easy. I would definitely come again. »
