« Beautiful cabin with a great view. Remote and quiet location. The place was clean and neat but maybe they forgot the last minute details??The bed in the loft didn't have any bedding on it. There were presumably dirty linens and towels in the washer and dryer and dishes that had been washed were still sitting out on the counter. Check in was easy. Apparently the fireplace listed twice in the description had been removed the year prior, due to operational issues. Unfortunately, the description had not been updated. « The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back! »

« Our stay along the Mississippi in this sweet cabin was perfect. The river view (even through the screen porch) was amazing - tugboats and barges moving slowly by, eagles soaring, and many songbirds frequenting the feeders. The cabin had everything we needed, and for the days of our stay it felt just like home. Highly recommend. »
