« Spacious property, two bedrooms, two full baths, and an open kitchen plus living space. Piano was very cool. It was in the top floor of a historic mercantile building that was renovated so you could see the old-style craftsmanship of the building. Wide indoor stairway with sturdy railing so we had no trouble getting up to the apartment. Coffee maker/K-cup combo machine was very nice. In-fridge water and ice. « It was a very convenient location. We would have easily been able to walk downtown from the apartment; unfotunately, it rained a lot, so we drove instead. »

« Excellent location in Fountain City, walkable to all nearby bars and restaurants. Enjoyed each evening's beautiful sunsets over the Mississippi River next to the fire on the balcony. »

« Best view in the Driftless. A perfect porch to play music and drink coffee and or whiskey. The hosts treated us like long time friends and even made us a pie! The location is a great home base to explore all of the Driftless and only a few miles from the legendary live music venue Leo & Leona's. »

« The kitchen is the laundry room, so no place to do dishes. To get to the outside space was a hassle: side yard had construction going on. To get to the waterside we had to go through Rene’s personal space. We only stayed 2 of the 3 nights we reserved. »

« Rental is as advertised and is very large! Great location and walkability. Unit was clean and homey. On the “could e better” side…as others have mentioned the weed smell in the building is noticeable (we put a towel under the door), there is noise from the bar and the street, and the bedrooms need drapes to keep light and cold draft out. Would stay again even with those items noted. »
