« We liked this rental and it was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the private community beach located a 5-minute drive away from the property. I did want to mention a couple things I found surprising based on the listing. One is that the listing says it has ‘dock access.’ This is not accurate. The house sits on a small lake. « Our stay at Fern and Forest was fantastic! We stayed in the three-bedroom unit, which definitely offered a boutique charm. Everything you could possibly need is provided during your stay. Fern and Forest is conveniently right off of Route 17 but sits in a very quiet, relaxing spot. The host could not be more available or attentive to anything you need. « The property was everything we wanted. It was very clean and comfortable and the A/C worked very well. The dock area was big and new. We caught our own crabs right from the dock and had a fresh crab boil for supper. Make sure you bring lights if you plan on using the dock at night. « So the parking was a bit hard to find because it was down a side alleyway. When we got inside, none of the beds had sheets on them and the linens in the dryer were still a bit damp.
