« Our stay at the 1919 Cabin was absolutely wonderful! The home is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and created such a relaxing atmosphere. Our guests felt comfortable and at ease throughout our visit. Everyone at the club was warm, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. « It served the purpose we needed, to have a place to sleep while visiting family. It had plenty of room for everyone. Location was convenient to places/family.I would not describe the property as luxurious. Sparcely decorated, very old bath towels and washcloths. No hand towels, body wash or hair dryer. One headboard was broken, but could still use the bed. No dishwasher.The freezer was dirty and no ice maker. Broken slats in window blinds. Grass was way past needing a cut. For me, this is...

« Beautiful! Perfect for enjoying the outdoors -- several spaces from which to enjoy a lovely view of the river, take a short walk with the dog, etc. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable -- exactly as described. Very much appreciated being able to bring our dog. The property felt very private/secluded even though it's close to town. Great location for both visiting friends / family in the southwestern suburbs and to explore a bit of Route 66. Midewin is close by and a beautiful place...

« We had a wonderful weekend at this lovely home. It was cute, comfortable and had a full kitchen. We were made to feel welcome by the host. The house was close to the Metro train, restaurants and shopping. We ate at Aurelio's Pizza and had the best pizza ever. »

« Technicolor retreat was a great relaxing getaway. The home is lovely and the location on the river was so relaxing after a day in the Dunes or Chicago. It felt very secluded and private. We can’t wait to go back. We were able to take our golden retriever who loves all things woods and water. Wish we could have stayed longer! »

« Place was just as it looked in the pictures, very clean and stocked with all the essentials. The host was very quick in responding back to me. Neighborhood was nice and quiet even with being off of a main road. Only thing that became an issue were some bees and wasps out back...I let the host know about it and orkin was supposed to come out to get rid of them. »
