« The location was beautiful. But the house was very dirty and in need of much repair. The water smelled like poop. The toilet in our room was filled with waste. The ceiling downstairs right by the kitchen had a huge hole and pipes exposed. The front door was broken and needed much repair. The patio out back was filthy the kitchen a complete mess with dishes stacked in the sink. They had cats and dogs in the house and while I was eating a cat jumped up in my lap. « Beautiful grounds, only a block from downtown Versailles. (highly recommend the nearby Black Squirrel for dining). Easy free parking. The building seems a reconfigured meeting hall. No on-site personnel, but cellular comms quick. Room spacious, clean, well lit, comfy bed, very basic amenities, nice bathroom if quirky taps on bath/shower. Only two towels but extras delivered on request within the day. No room service. The door handle pulled away from its moorings on our last day but a...
