« We booked for a 2 night stay for our son who had a track meet at a local college. After a check in mix up (A Vrbo issue, not our host) everything was exactly as described. Our host Matt went above and beyond to get us settled once everything was taken care of. Even bringing clean towels down late at night to make sure we had everything. We weren't there much as most of our weekend was at the track. But overall everything was great and wouldn't hesitate to book with Matt again if we are ever out...

« This was my second time staying at the Golden Retreat with my girlfriends and it was just as wonderful as the last time we stayed. We spent 4 nights here to celebrate a long Galentine's weekend. This house is the perfect little cozy cottage to gather with loved ones and take a break from reality. The views of the icy lake were great and Kristi is always VERY responsive to messages.
