« Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angel’s Nest B&B. Built on the highest point in Parker County, this is a lovely Victorian home built in 1890s with vintage furnishings, but with up to date amenities. A/C, electricity, TV, etc. Comfy king size bed, delicious breakfast, clean, welcoming staff, wonderful wrap around porch perfect for sitting outside viewing for miles while enjoying a gentle breeze. Free parking on the property. »

« The decision to stay at Magpie Inn for our getaway was the absolute best decision we could have made. Everything, and I do mean everything, was the confirmation of our dream to have a restful time together. The location was close to downtown Mineral Wells. « Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay.
