« We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Elkstone. The cabin itself is beautiful - very clean and comfortable for 2 families. We encountered next to no hiccups, but when needed, the owner was very quick to respond to email. The location of the cabin is great - close enough to but far enough from Eagle River. The setting is lovely - very private and serene. We rented a pontoon boat from the Maple View Resort - about a mile away - which guaranteed us access to Pioneer Lake. To get to the...

« Exactly what a quiet week Up North should be. Cabin was well-furnished, five (!!) different boats provided, firewood provided, quiet lake with, from what I could tell, 5 total cabins on it. Almost zero mosquitos, but a good amount of flies by the shore. Hosts escorted us to the property at check-in, which I was not used to, but because it's so far off the road that's really the best way to do it. »
