« We stayed in the Eisenhower house. Four adults retirement age and our three dogs. This place needs new furniture for sure. Living room chair with ottoman has no foam left in seat or arms and you’re sitting on the wooden frame !! So uncomfortable!! Couch cushions sink down 12 inches when you sit down. Kitchen table wood beat up a bit. Kitchen very dark making it difficult to use counters and see what you’re doing while cooking. Bed mattresses just okay. Loved sitting on porch and seeing the lake....

The house is right on the trail with easy access to everywhere we wanted to go, which made the entire weekend so convenient.The house itself was beautiful and incredibly clean when we arrived. « The place was exceptional with all the amenities that you need for a great vacation. It has a great view of bad water from the deck. If you’re handicapped or have a disability you will struggle getting up those stairs from the river. It’s extremely steep. The owner and property manager were kind and easy to work with and gave great instructions. The only downfall to this place is the neighbors!!!
