« We usually visit the area once a year to see family. We travel from Alabama. We came upon this jewel four or five years ago. We love the cottage so much we try to stay here each year when we come. The cottage is private, clean and very quiet. The yard and landscaping are beautiful. It’s just very peaceful and serene.The area is full of history and the cottage is located so that you can travel easily to visit many of the historic areas near by. »

« Love location and owners. Some adjustments are needed, this isn’t camping it’s glamping and you cannot do it halfway. Need more AC in second floor units like this one, our unit was well over 100 degrees when we arrived and never got below 80 degrees inside even when temps dipped outside at night, very uncomfortable. « Our stay at the Sandstone Sanctuary was truly what we needed. An escape from everyday life. No traffic, no neighbors, just solitude at its best.
