« The mountain house was a perfect family retreat for our 4th of July get together. The home is closely situated to New Hope on a beautifully wooded property with all the amenities you could want. From the kitchen, baths, pool, hot-tub, game room..etc, everything was there for our needs. The home is very comfortable and feels like a family home vs. a hotel. We enjoyed the pool in the very hot, humid weather. All the beds were comfortable and perfectly arranged for our family of grown up...

« The listing description was inaccurate. The property had several issues such as a steep staircase without a rail and an AC unit plugged in to an outlet that was in front of a doorway. Overall cleanliness and appearance was not appealing for when you go on vacation. Bed linens and pillows were very old. I didn’t feel comfortable using the bed or the linens provided. »

« Loved the location! Really lovely view of the river from the very spacious deck. Sometimes listing's exaggerate the water view, but this exceeded expectations. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. Convenient to nearby towns (we were meeting friends in Frenchtown, a short drive away) and an easy walk on the canal path to the pedestrian bridge. The path was contiguos to the property, didn't even have to walk on the road. Very quiet, a bit of traffic noise from River Road on the other...

« A lovely house with plenty of room for our family group, especially on the ground floor. We used the air-conditioning a few times and it was very effective. Comfy beds. Great hummingbird activity on the decks and the surrounding woodland was lush. Super kitchen with much crockery but maybe 1 more big saucepan would be useful. Had a couple of issues with electrical sockets in the kitchen but that may have been our European ineptitude! Blanche was very quick to reply to text messages. Great house...
