Mountain side house with game room, hot tub, firepit 1 mile from Lambertville

Spend the day exploring the rivertowns on the Deleware. We are 1 mile from dowtown Lambertville NJ and New Hope PA. After a day of shopping and dining come back to our retreat to relax by the fire, soak in the hottub. There is a lot to offer in the Hunterdon/Bucks area. We have beautiful state parks to hike or you can bring/rent bikes to ride on the Deleware canal and explore other rivertowns with dining, craft beers, and wineries. If you are coming with kids, there are plenty of parks, a brand new vintage arcade. In the summer, there is tubing and kayaking on the river. Other seasonal favorites are the New Hope haunted train ride, Santa Steam train ride, and the Spring Shad Festival.

The house had some positives! The hot tub worked well, and was great to use. The kitchen also worked well!There are only two full-size or greater beds in this house. It's hard to tell from the pictures.The heating system was very hard to understand. There are many thermostats, and the primary bathroom and second floor were always cold.The gas fire place in the den didn't work - the thermostat was broken.Most importantly, there was a cleanliness issue. There was a residue all over the 2nd Floor floor. Very few towels are given, and very few products.We had a nice time, but I was embarrassed as the person who booked the house. I couldn't get timely communication out of the host.

The house was nice. Lacked communication, towels in master bedroom, usually the house will have a book that explains how things work (fireplace). When we arrived it was dark - pitch black, hard to find lock box. All in all, it was a roomy home, we enjoyed our Christmas together. The house just lacked communication with owners.

Had everything we needed in terms of space/beds/toiletries/kitchen supplies etc. Some of the faucets were a bit wonky but we figured it out or there were instructions. Finding the house was a bit challenging and the driveway is steep but we found it since it was still daytime. Might be harder for you if you are travelling at night. Enough parking for 4-5 cars. Host not super responsive but she was accommodating overall and we got the information we needed. We had a nice stay and it's a good location from Peddler's/New Hope.

We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding. Perfect for multiple guests. Main living space is great for entertaining We did not use hot tub or outdoor space, but it looked lovely. We had no little ones, but nice space for them as well .The faucet in the downstairs powder room leaks, so you may want to repairAlso, there is a bees nest in the sliding door off the living room, so sadly we couldn’t use the deck on our beautiful, sunny day. Otherwise all was well. Thank you very much.

Overall, the house is spacious with a beautiful second story deck. However, we incurred several problems: 1. we became locked out of the house because we could not open the lock box (door was unlocked when we checked in). Left message for realtor; ultimately had to drive to office and seek help. 2. No A/C in master bedroom and one upstairs bedroom 3. Clothes Dryer did not work. Regarding items 2 and 3, we called and texted the realtor multiple times with NO RESPONSE. Other issues include the general lack of cleanliness (dirty beds. kitchen mat and towel had hair on them). Upstairs tub had mold around drain. Deck sliding door had broken handle and did NOT lock.

Wedding Weekend

Location great for both New Hope and Lambertville and the secluded setting made it peaceful. Unfortunately there were issues that impacted our stay. Bedroom setup did not match the listing-Bedrooms 1 & listed two Queen beds and only had one Queen bed This means that the house can only sleep11 not the 13 advertised The master bedroom was hot at 76degrees despite thermostat adjustments. The door to the outside in the master would not open as well. Felt as though the house could use a good deep cleaning. House was minimally stocked..Few towels and we had to purchase additional toliet paper. The listing did not list limited supplies until we read the instructions at the house We expected a bit more for a rental of this size and price.

The house was nice, but the hot tub was broken and green. When I reached out to the owner she never responded. Additionally, many things were in need of refreshing. There was no hand soap in any bathrooms, there was one towel in each bathroom and the back door was completely open when we arrived.

Nice house in a good location

This house was a good landing place for our large family gathering. We liked the well-appointed kitchen and comfortable gathering area in the living room. We loved having meals out on the deck, hanging out in the hot tub, shooting hoops in the basketball hoop, and using the fire pit. The listing isn’t clear about the beds that are in each room. The downstairs master has one queen bed in it. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms- one room has one queen bed, one room has a trundle bed (twin mattresses) as well as another twin bed, and the other room has a bunk bed with twin mattresses and a trundle bed with twin mattresses. Additionally, there is a cot in the basement (though there’s not a door so it’s not exactly private). I’m not sure how this adds up to 13- it seemed like 12 max to me, but I think there was a pack n play so maybe they’re counting that. It all worked out for us, but just know that all 3 upstairs bedrooms share one shower, so the 9 people we had sleeping upstairs and using that bathroom really had to juggle their shower times. We stayed at the house in the summer, so the steep driveway was okay for us, but I can see how getting up that on a snowy or icy day would be rough. A couple of the beds didn’t have sheets which was kind of strange. We found extra blankets, but not extra sheets. Overall, we enjoyed the house and it was convenient for day trips to the shore, Philadelphia, NYC, and more local spots in Lambertville, New Hope, and Princeton.
