« Such a cool space! Set right in the heart of Humboldt's famous redwoods, but only a quick drive to town (Fieldbrook, Blue Lake especially) and SUPER peaceful. We had plenty of floor space for my bestie to set up an air mattress as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating - would love to come back again sometime soon! »

« This was our second stay at the Boathouse and we were not disappointed. The setting is outstanding with 180 degree unobstructed views of the harbor including great sunsets over the ocean. The house is very comfortable with excellent attention to detail. We had a great time kayaking, hiking, reading, jig saw puzzling, and just enjoying the view. My only suggestion is the kitchen could use more forks and an orange juicer. We are planning our return. »

« Terrific house for a larger gathering of family and friends. Comfortable bedrooms and fun common spaces, including a huge pool/game room and an expansive deck. The small oceanside village of Trinidad is a real jewel, with a number of scenic beaches within walking or short driving distance. We especially enjoyed the beach immediately accessible by a short trail from the house. Some features of the house are a bit dated but this is far outweighed by the overall comfort, amenities, and location...

« This was a great vacation home! It has plenty of space for 6 people to be comfortable. The location was great for walking to the beach or stuff in town. It had excellent ocean views. The garden area was lovely and it was nice and private for the hot tub use. They also had everything you would need so you don't have to pack any special kitchen items. We really enjoyed our stay! »

« We enjoyed the close proximity to the highway, beaches, grocery stores and restaurants from this property. It was a very quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed the beautiful backyard where our dog enjoyed running and playing. We sat out on the patio every morning for coffee. There is a gate that leads to a trail right out the back yard for walks, or biking. We had plans in both Trinidad and Arcata and this location in McKinleyville was perfect to get to both locations with ease. The kitchen was well...
