« This was our second day at Alder cottage, and we came back for a reason! It’s away from everything, beautiful views, we love to hear the sea lions barking, and the waves crashing. It’s a great homebase, and we went up to Oregon and then also around Redwood Park and so many beaches! On this trip we went to Gold Bluffs beach and were nearly the only people there. « Definitely a cottage! Fun setting. Peaceful and quiet out of the crowds. This rental is set up in the yard of a main home, essentially an on property guest cottage. Make sure you bring food with you or eat before you crash for the night. Closest food stuff was back towards town 10-15 minutes. We used Uber Eats for our meal. Which was fine for us, just wanted to be sure others were aware. »
