« This is a great, well appointed property in an easy to access location. The home was clean and neat, though we’d recommend fewer air fresheners as those aggravated some allergies. The front porch is great for morning coffee, and the quaint backyard was a lovely place for dinner. The home has everything you need; we’ll definitely consider staying again if we are in the area! »

« We all had a wonderful stay at City Richmond Life! Although we did not use the area in the fenced-in backyard, it appears to be a wonderful hang out for all ages. A place to gather, relax, enjoy the ambience and all its amenities. The home is updated and modern yet very cozy and made us feel very welcome. Luke was very responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely stay again in the future! »

« The place looked good online, but it is larger than it seems and better than I can express!!!!What a true gem in a setting you try to think of reasons to return for another occasion before you have even left.All went well and was very easy from the reservation, communication, arrival, stay, adding my son's dog for 2 days 24 hours before arrival, to cleanup and leaving,,,,,which we were all sad to drive away!Had a great experience that I left something and was able to go back a few days later...

« The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. When we arrived, the AC wasn’t cooling properly. We contacted the host around 7:00 PM on a Friday—the hottest day of the year in RVA—and she immediately arranged for an AC technician. Remarkably, the tech arrived within 30 minutes and resolved the issue that evening. We really appreciated the quick action and dedication to guest comfort. »

« Cozy house and a great quiet location. This was the perfect place to stay with my girls and our children. The basement was a great place for the kids to play and the living room on the first floor was cozy with a comfortable couch and the map on the wall was a big hit! The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils. Overall, we had a great stay. Our only complaint was the list of things to do upon checking out on top off a cleaning fee. Otherwise, a great stay! »

« Three of us spent three days (two nights) at Floyd's FAN-tastic Retreat, and we found it to be truly excellent. Despite the August heat, the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us comfortable throughout our stay. The three upstairs bedrooms were impressively well-appointed, fresh, and completely clean.
