« Had an amazing experience. Right by the Des Moines river. Owners are terrific. Nice quiet area to go and stay to get away from the busy and loud everyday life. Beds were very comfortable to sleep in. My kids loved every minute of our stay and want to go back. 10/10 for my family! »

« The cabin has a neighbor who lives next door. I met him and had a brief conversation. He seemed like a very nice person. The kitchen is small, but I found everything I needed. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and will likely return in the future. »

« My son and I stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. It was clean and nice. We were lucky to have the whole resort to ourselves, besides some road workers who came after their shift was done. We had the heated salt water pool to ourselves and it was incredible. So relaxing. Their shower and changing rooms were meticulously clean and I hope people renting cabins and using this resort help to keep it clean and tidy. There are a lot of gnats here so bring something to keep them at bay if your sitting...

« This is our second year coming to this location. We really enjoyed these cabins compared to the larger cabins because we all were in one area and was easier to communicate and reconnect. Went when it was extremely hot and had a heat advisory, but the AC worked fine and had the pool pretty much to ourselves. Have no issue ever with these locations. »

« Cabin was clean and spacious. I had 6 teenage boys with me and we were comfortable. I used the loft and had some privacy. We explored the area by swimming at beaches, fishing, and rented a boat on Lake MacBride. I’d definitely go back. »

« We weren't sure what to expect and gosh were we blown away! The property is so quiet and so well tended. The pool was still open, warm and the cleanest I've ever been in. Cabin was equally clean and very cozy. All items we needed to cook were already there and the beds comfortable. We look forward to coming back. »
