First, the entrance door was broken - this had happened before, neighbors told us, given prevailing winds- and, without guidance on nighttime access, we were left to improvise a solution with masking tape to avoid being locked out over the coldest night of 2025. « Check in was simple and easy. There is not a stove or oven to cook on only a microwave. You have to bring something to cook on or use the grill outside. I’m glad I brought a hot plate to cook on because at approximately 7 pm the sprinkler came on and wet the entire grill. The private beach was cute but wasn’t so private. The host that actually lives upstairs was using the beach with a friend during our stay. Also the entire place isn’t yours just the basement. The dog that he said would stay...

« This is 99.9% exactly how described. Your water view is slightly obstructed due to trees on the shore that the owner isn’t allowed to do anything about. Very charming and cute. Clean and comfortable. Very compact and efficient. I only have one suggestion, and that is to put a door covering on the only door in and out of the place. It’s a wonderful view and natural light.
