« This Rental has everything you'd want with regards to the views, area & community. We hiked a lot on the Appalachian Trails nearby and the home was wonderfully located to those trails. The home is nice, but several issues kept this from being rated 4 or 5 stars. As advertised, this is the LOWER level of a 2-story home. Access into the lower level was terrible. You have to lug all your items up some stairs, around the back balcony, down more stairs and go in via sliding glass doors. Not for...

« Very cool experience. A cozy Yurt. I would stay again. Would love to see the property when it’s complete. To unwind before and after exploring, I recommend taking a light-weight TV with you. We did and it was the perfect decision. Take your own amenities. The kitchen desperately needs an updated Brita (or Brita like) pitcher. Stairs to the top level bed are super dicey - I imagine that’s a Yurt situation across the board. The owner (hello!) did say he might be there at the adjoining cottage...

« Awesome! Our family and friends rented this home for the Thanksgiving weekend. We all walked away giving the experience a ten out of ten rating. The scenery is spectacular! The house is beautiful, VERY clean and very comfortable. Not sure we have ever rented a more well stocked kitchen, it has everything you need and more. The owners are more than generous in offering supplies such as trash bags, napkins, paper towels… My family is picky about their sleeping arrangements but no complaints...

« This was a beautiful property nestled in the forest. Extremely peaceful. Close enough to Harrisonburg but far enough away that it felt like a retreat. Interesting surrounding area with farms and forest trails. The hosts were responsive and very friendly. We can't wait to go back! »

« Convenient location in Winchester though the property made it feel like you are in the country. Check in time must be precise as the owner needs to explain a couple things and let you in. This was good as my husband had a couple questions. Toaster oven was missing its tray so it was not easy to use the appliance. Coffee maker and refrigerator work great, bathroom facilities work. The house is in great condition and a neat place to stay. »

« We are so glad we stumbled upon this gem! Looking to find a place to celebrate our anniversary & get away (long overdue), I found Ramana’s garden paradise. It is a quaint 1920’s carriage house with beautiful hardwood floors, a pedestal tub, fully stocked kitchen & large screened in porch for relaxing on those gorgeous evenings! Upon arrival, Ramana greeted us with our keys & a tour of the whole property, including where we would be staying, showing us where we could find organic veggies & herbs...
