« Jeffrey was the best host. This is a beautiful property which is obviously lovingly maintained. The building is so pretty and has multiple sitting areas outside of your room (which was also great). I have dietary restrictions and Jeffrey and others made sure to have snacks for me to enjoy during the wonderful nightly happy hours and delicious options for breakfast. This area was also fun to explore and Jeffrey gave us very good pointers on where to go. »

« This place is well-maintained for how old it is, and it was fun to stay in such a historic building. Surface cleaning is spotless, but a deeper clean is not really great (e.g., ceiling fans). Our room did not have a TV so we had to watch in the living room. We had to share a bathroom. Kind of frustrating for a room with kids, but it was on the booking. Just didn’t catch it somehow. The pillows could use a regular update. The breakfast was better than a traditional continental breakfast, but not...

« A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! »
