« My mother and I had the best stay at Heathwood Inn when we visited Bar Harbor this summer. The staff is amazingly nice and they even prepared for my last breakfast the famous pumpkin waffles I had seen in the comments and nicely asked for - if possible (they are so delicious). It is also very easy to move around the island as one of the island buses can stop right in front of the Inn, allowing you to explore Acadia without a car and struggling to find parking. Yass! »

« Sweet little gem tucked in a calm street with trees and yard space to make you feel nestled but still easy walking distance from all the stores and restaurants. Stayed in the Echo Lake suite and it was perfect for me and my 2 daughters. Safe, clean. Terrific breakfasts and innkeeper is super kind. Would highly recommend. »

« The location was easy to find and quiet. Building and room were well kept, clean and comfortable. The staff and owners were amazing people! They really made you feel welcomed and were happy to make your stay the best! Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. The one night we ate dinner in the restaurant the service was quite slow but that is our only minor complaint - otherwise only great things to say. Would absolutely stay again! »

« The people at Acadia were simply the best. Kind, courteous and helpful are the top 3 words that come to mind, but there are many others that could be used to describe the excellent service. The inn is situated at the head of a small bay and the beach and rocks are a pleasure to walk or just sit and enjoy he view. We highly recommend the his quiet, quaint and quality place to visit. »
