« Magnifique hôtel. Service impeccable! Nous y reviendrons très probablement! »

« Très belle maison où nous avons été très bien accueillis La chambre (n° 8) disposait d'une terrasse couverte ; chaque voiture a son emplacement et nous sommes informés par mail avant notre arrivée de l'endroit où il faut se garer. Tout a été fait pour faciliter notre séjour : prêt de DVD, de GPS, brochures etc... Petit déjeuner excellent et gâteaux servis l'après midi tout était très bien y compris l'emplacement tout près du centre de Bar Harbor (5 mn à pied) »

« Very unique older historic property, staff we're pleasant and helpful, close to water and delicious breakfast! »

« Chambre superbement décoré et très confortable , accueil extra l'hote nous a donné de precieux conseils pour aller a Bar Harbor et a téléphoné au ferry pour leur demander les renseignements , très aimable et donc très serviable »

« My mother and I had the best stay at Heathwood Inn when we visited Bar Harbor this summer. The staff is amazingly nice and they even prepared for my last breakfast the famous pumpkin waffles I had seen in the comments and nicely asked for - if possible (they are so delicious). It is also very easy to move around the island as one of the island buses can stop right in front of the Inn, allowing you to explore Acadia without a car and struggling to find parking. Yass! »

« Nice place and walkable too shopping and dining options. »

« We stayed three nights and could not wait for breakfast each morning. Each day Cheryl served a gourmet delight. The location was perfect with a grocery around the corner and an easy walk to town. (Parking is limited in Bar Harbor.) Cheryl answered all of our questions and was very responsive to our needs. Our room was very quiet and equipped with everything we needed. If we ever return to Bar Harbor we will certainly stay here again. »

« Room was very clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about Bar Harbor and Acadia. Easy access to the park. Breakfast was excellent! »

« 1800's house built by a sea captain, very rustic and authentic. »

« Honestly, if you’re here to go to Acadia it’s not terrible. The main problems we ran into are: the beds were not very comfortable, they were very hard, the bathroom vent does not work, the shower glass was dirty, and the room smelled terrible when we first got there so we had to leave the window open in the cold since there was no other way to vent out the room. The only thing we really enjoyed about this stay was the location. »

« The inn was a lovely example of New England B&B experience. Quaint room design and excellent proximity to carriage roads and hiking trails. Staff was really nice and helpful! Pointed us toward some local points of interest. The “breakfast” was minimal, muffins and mini-quiches with some fruit. But it was enough to get a day started and the coffee was good. »

« The location was easy to find and quiet. Building and room were well kept, clean and comfortable. The staff and owners were amazing people! They really made you feel welcomed and were happy to make your stay the best! Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. They gave us suggestions for places to visit during our stay and we were not disappointed. The recommendations received were perfect! We plan on coming back as soon as we can. »

« Yellow house is fantastic! Sara, the proprietor, made us feel right at home. Not only is it charming but conveniently located near downtown Bar Harbor and all the great food and sights. A charming place to rest your head. Highly recommended! »
