« We stayed at this VRBO near Austin, Texas, for a week in October 2024. The property was as described—clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short drive to downtown San Marcos and a little over 30 min to Austin and all the attractions we wanted to visit. « The area is rural but also conveniently close to New Braunfels, San Marcos, and San Antonio. We had 2 days to visit the area and spent time in all 3 cities. The apartment is upstairs in a building of its own but it gave a great sense of privacy. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We purchased our own toiletries and brought our own spices, oil, coffee, and paper plates/cups but all were available in the apartment for guest.There is a large pool which looked large and clean but...

"The smell in the room and the floor dirty, nope thank yo, not anymore EVER. Even when I mentioned that to the nice guy in the morning at the desk he said 
 : oh yes they are planning to remodel, but don’t know when. Well overpriced for such room. And poor reaction from the management team. And the reception was very average . Anyway enough said I guess "
