« Way off the beaten path, this small, cozy cabin was exactly the relaxing and private getaway I was looking for. I hiked at Beuscher State Park on my way in, but didn't go back since I was able to walk the 22 acres on the property, with little trails and trees everywhere, it was great. The owners live on the property as well, but I never saw them, giving me plenty of privacy. The chickens and three goats were fun to have around, but they left me alone if I ignored them. »

« The area is rural but also conveniently close to New Braunfels, San Marcos, and San Antonio. We had 2 days to visit the area and spent time in all 3 cities. The apartment is upstairs in a building of its own but it gave a great sense of privacy. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We purchased our own toiletries and brought our own spices, oil, coffee, and paper plates/cups but all were available in the apartment for guest.There is a large pool which looked large and clean but...

"The smell in the room and the floor dirty, nope thank yo, not anymore EVER. Even when I mentioned that to the nice guy in the morning at the desk he said … : oh yes they are planning to remodel, but don’t know when. Well overpriced for such room. And poor reaction from the management team. And the reception was very average . Anyway enough said I guess "
