« We usually visit the area once a year to see family. We travel from Alabama. We came upon this jewel four or five years ago. We love the cottage so much we try to stay here each year when we come. The cottage is private, clean and very quiet. The yard and landscaping are beautiful. It’s just very peaceful and serene.The area is full of history and the cottage is located so that you can travel easily to visit many of the historic areas near by. »

« Love location and owners. Some adjustments are needed, this isn’t camping it’s glamping and you cannot do it halfway. Need more AC in second floor units like this one, our unit was well over 100 degrees when we arrived and never got below 80 degrees inside even when temps dipped outside at night, very uncomfortable. Husband left with our dogs on second night because it was too hot for him and them to even get comfortable enough to sleep. Hot water smelled like sewage when running and no hot...

« Home was clean with adequate linens and towels. Doors to the bedrooms need to be rehinged. The outside area needs to be repaired. Deck was in disrepair and outside furniture was not in great shape. Beautiful view of the mountains though. »

« There were a few things we should have known about instead of figure it out when it happens. Liked the idea of a pool table but, couldn’t find any chalk. Found the ping ball table but couldn’t find the paddles or balls. That was my overlook. They are on the laundry room door. 2 of the bathrooms in the basement are known to trip the beaker. To me a beaker is in a breaker box but, it was the reset button on the receptacle I was to reset if they were VI not functional. I would have liked that...

« This is a great place to stay. It is a wonderful up to date clean house. It is set in nature with a large back deck overlooking woods and the creek. More important for us it is a short distance from Twin Bridges Campground. So you can stay in comfort while your friends and relatives bake in the sun and get drenched by rains lol. Also just a short drive to historic Chambersburg and nearby sights and attractions. Selena is a wonderful and responsive host. We highly recommend this house, this host...
