« It was so quiet and peaceful. Design of the manor was unique. On our arrival, we were able to check in early and we were able to visit our first winery in the area by walking a short distance. Several other wineries were close by as well as a shopping outlet. The only thing we weren't sure about was when the front door would have been locked. « The building / Bed and Breakfast Inn…was there during the battle of Gettysburg and was used as a hospital for wounded soldiers, The rooms were very comfortable and authentic for the 19th Century giving one the feeling of traveling back in time. »

« We stayed just one night at the Carriage Inn, but Yvonne and Jonathan made us feel so welcome it felt like much longer. The inn is charming, our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. A perfect quick getaway - we’ll be back! »

« What a beautiful experience. The suite was very nice, clean and comfortable. The owner reached out to offer his help in locating hiking trails and for whatever I needed. I didn’t take him up on the offer but it was greatly appreciated. I’d recommend anyone visiting the area to stay there. »

« We went to Gettysburg to feel the significance of the events that took place so many years ago. The bed-and-breakfast was so with that period of time. Our room was wonderful. The food was exemplary. The hosts did a wonderful job. I felt quite pampered. And we walked to everything. We really explored the town.
