« It was nice to have a clean, modern place to stay that is walking distance to Brookland, where my daughter lives. Hotels are not close to her so this was an excellent alternative. Modern appliances, great shower, and comfortable bed were a definite plus. The building and apartment are secure with codes locks. »

The apartment is right on a bus route to the National Mall/Smithsonian Museums, a 15 minute walk to the metro, 10 minute walk to a supermarket, and it's practically nextdoor to a restaurant. The location felt safe. The price was good. The kitchen came equipped with essentials. The on-site laundry wasn't overpriced (pro tip: bring quarters for laundry, it's coin-op.) The host provided linens, towels, and toiletries (and the towels were super soft & fluffy!)...

« It was so quiet and peaceful. Design of the manor was unique. On our arrival, we were able to check in early and we were able to visit our first winery in the area by walking a short distance. Several other wineries were close by as well as a shopping outlet. The only thing we weren't sure about was when the front door would have been locked. I assumed it would be after all guests for the day arrived as we were provided a front door key with our room key. Again, I assumed it was a front...
