« This was a perfect place for my husband and I over the 4th of July weekend. The place was exactly as described and a good location to walk to restaurants, breweries and museums. Quick tip, if you stay during the fireworks you can see them from the porch! There is a tree slightly blocking your view but we didn't have to drive anywhere for the festivities! »

« Our stay at Mt. Gilead Sunrise was absolutely wonderful. From the first communication with Nancy and Al to checkout, everything was seamless. The property is beautiful and peaceful and unit was charming, roomy, and spotless. Close to beautiful Leesburg, and the quaint towns of Lucketts and Purcellville, and just 30 minutes from Dulles airport.Nancy and Al are wonderful hosts, and we cannot recommend this property more enthusiastically, and will absolutely look for an opportunity to stay here...

« Cute downtown area with multiple spots to grab breakfast and convenience store stuff. Easy access to Harper's Ferry and made for a nice restful spot between hikes in nature and around town. »

« We did not stay after arriving and walking through the place. First, I'm 5'9", and half of the room I couldn't stand up straight in. My wife is 5'1" and could barely stand up straight. The place has an odor, it smelled old. It was over 90° outside when we arrived, and the air was off. It was so hot inside. The "tremendous" bathroom was FAR from tremendous. There was a sink, a toilet that was in the back corner and looked uncomfortable because it was closed on on the sides, and only a stand up...

« The room was very clean, and super close to Caledonia State Park and not far from Gettysburg. It is cozy as described, so on the smaller side, however the price was right and we mainly used the place to sleep and have breakfast only. The host was available when needed and overall we had a great stay. »

« Great spot for a two night stay. Super convenient location for our purposes. Safe neighborhood. This room is great but is part of a larger house so expect to hear some host noise like talking, cooking or dogs. The room itself and the outdoor sitting area were great! The shower was great with hot water and shampoo and conditioner provided. Bed was super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. »
