« This small rustic home has so much potential! It seemed to be in mid-renovation so maybe that was why it wasn’t looking as cute as it should have been. It was incredibly clean and nicely stocked, both positives! I knew in advance that I needed my own drinking water but once there I was wondering how safe it was to bathe and rinse my toothbrush in it. I loved the availability of the kayaks and equipment, but the oven mitts were thin and I burned and dropped my meal when I took it out of the oven....

« Lovely camp. Lovely location. Met the owner, and he was very kind and enthusiastic to have us there. The one critique I have is with the check in/out times. 4:00PM is too late in the afternoon for check in, and 10:00AM is a tad early for checking out. Perhaps 11:00AM/2:00PM? Either way, I would encourage an earlier check-in time. That said, M&F made the entire process very easy, and communication outreach was fantastic. I will use your services again. « Our October stay provided clear views. We were surprised at no dishwasher. Stairs are steep and an issue for luggage and older people, like us. Second bedroom not very accessible for older people. Paper napkins and Kleenex were not provided. Wish we had known ahead of time. Location is lovely. Host was helpful. »

« When we booked our stay, the listing said that there was a “wood burning fireplace” in the cabin (which was one of the reasons why we selected it). Unfortunately, that was inaccurate. Instead, there was a wood stove that contained ceramic logs. And even that wasn’t operational during our stay! Very disappointing. I think the owner (who was very responsive) corrected the listing after we brought it to his attention. Otherwise the cabin was clean and well stocked. The location was also excellent....
